Major Duties : |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties of the Structure Whole Person Development Programmes; |
|
(b) |
To develop and refine course curriculum and teaching materials; |
|
(c) |
To plan, design, organize and evaluate student developmental programmes; |
|
(d) |
To provide academic counseling; and |
|
(e) |
To lead experiential learning programmes and adventure-based activities. |
|
|
|
Requirements : |
|
(a) |
A recognized degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies or a relevant discipline, preferably with post-graduate qualifications in education; |
|
(b) |
Preferably with some relevant teaching and / or field experience in Whole Person Development; teaching and developing the generic skills modules, leading discipline projects and student services, and / or experience in academic programme administration; |
|
(c) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(d) |
Good interpersonal and computer skills; and |
|
(e) |
Preferably with experience in teaching non-engaged youth. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English. |

The work location will be Tuen Mun. |

(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
