Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To carry out various administrative duties; |
(e) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
For Chinese Medicine Stream |
|
(i) |
A relevant recognised degree in Chinese Medicine, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; and |
|
(ii) |
Candidates should be registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong; |
|
For Pharmaceutical Science Stream |
|
(i) |
A relevant recognised degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; and |
|
(ii) |
Registered Pharmacist and holding valid practising certificate would be an advantage; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
(d) |
Good records of linkage with the industry or with solid work experience would be an advantage. |

Notes: |
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
