Belt and Road Countries In recent years, the VTC has strengthened its liaisons with countries located on the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, particularly in identifying opportunities for the development of exchange programmes and co-operation. In addition to Mainland China​, the VTC has reached out to Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
