HKDI Media Lab The Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) Media Lab aims to promote the integration of innovative ideas and media technologies, thereby fostering integration of education, applied research, professional training and industrial application. The Media Lab provides professional in-house design services, enabling design students to realise their boundless creativity. BIMiHub The VTC embraces Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology, which has been widely adopted in many advanced countries and regions, by tangibly supporting the learning and teaching of BIM courses. In order to nurture BIM professionals, BIMiHub was established at the IVE (Tsing Yi) campus​. The Hub is furnished with professional computing platforms, BIM software, and a variety of equipment in VR, AR and Mixed Reality (MR), which blend with BIM applications like HoloLens, 3D laser scanning, and the unmanned aircraft system. Through the Hub, students are equipped with the latest know-how to drive technological development of the industry. 56
