STEM Education Centre The VTC has long recognised the need to equip the learning community with essential knowledge and skill sets in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). In 2017, the VTC established the STEM Education Centre on three different campuses — Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) (Tsing Yi), IVE (Chai Wan) and Youth College (Kowloon Bay) — to create simulated learning contexts and facilitate co-creation in student projects, thereby integrating modern technology with innovative ideas. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, these Centres also provide various activities, such as workshops and seminars, to promote STEM education while serving as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise in STEM.
