Skilling for the Future (2020 Update)

In addition to the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme, the three-year Vocational Baccalaureate (VB) programme launched in September 2018 also prepares students for flexible articulation to higher education. ​ The VB programme emphasises the cultivation of creativity and critical thinking through a variety of pedagogies based on innovative approaches. It caters to the diverse learning needs of students, helps young people translate their aspirations into reality, and builds a solid foundation for future studies. The programme adopts a combination of theory-based and practical assessments, which give students the opportunity to showcase their skills and apply their knowledge in industry-related contexts.
