Three certificates will be awarded to students passing the OEMC examination in hairdressing: Junior Stylist for Level 2 and Hair Stylist for Level 3. Occupation Dictionary To help students understand the development of various professions, and facilitate their study and career planning, the VTC launched the Occupation Dictionary in 2017. Students, parents and teachers can use the Occupation Dictionary to look for information on major jobs in Hong Kong including the entry requirements, necessary skills and competencies, duties, and work environments of about 500 major occupations in 12 industry groups. One Examination, Multiple Certification Students with different career aspirations can enrol in VPET programmes to obtain relevant qualifications for their professional development. The One Examination, Multiple Certification (OEMC) System launched by the VTC in Beauty Care and Hairdressing Industries help students to attain relevant qualifications. Under the OEMC System, candidates passing the assessment attain local, national and international qualifications. As evidence of their competency standards and skills, students are awarded three certifications: the Vocational Assessment of Hong Kong, National Vocational Qualifications of Mainland China, and Certificate of International Professional Standards Network (IPSN). These three certificates are recognised in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and member countries of IPSN including Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea.
