41 Skills Recognition for Professionals The VTC has stepped up its in-service support endeavours, which include vocational assessments for various service industries. Building on the vocational assessment system, multipartite collaborations took place under the ‘One Examination, Multiple Certification’ system for Beauty Care and Hairdressing. Since 2013, over 1,800 candidates have taken this assessment either in Hong Kong or the Mainland. Starting from 1 January 2019, candidates passing the assessment in Beauty Care can achieve recognition from Hong Kong, the National Occupational Qualification system of the Mainland, the International Professional Standards Network (ipsn) and the Labour Affairs Bureau of Macao. Since 2015, the vocational assessment in Arboriculture offered by VTC has become a requirement for workers undertaking tree pruning works involving the use of chainsaws for Government contracts. Over 230 candidates have taken the assessment since its launch. Aligning VPET Services to Industries To assess the manpower demand and training needs of different industries, respective VTC Training Boards for the 24 designated industry sectors conduct full-scale manpower surveys at various intervals once every four years. These are supplemented by manpower updates to provide the various stakeholders with useful information for their future manpower planning, as well as the formulation of education and training policies. The online VTC Occupation Dictionary, covering some 500 occupations in 12 industries, provides students and working adults with a comprehensive career planning resource. 技能認證 確立專業水平 VTC 透過提供專業能力評估服務，加 強對在職人士的支援。 我們與多方團體協作，進一步優化美 容美髮業「一試多證」的評估制度。 制度自 2013 年推行至今，已有超過 1,800 名考生在香港或內地通過考核。 由 2019 年 1 月 1 日起，成功通過美 容考核，可同時取得香港、中國國家 職業資格、國際專業標準聯盟（ ipsn ） 和澳門勞工事務局的認證。 由 2015 年起，從事政府工程合約操 作電油鏈鋸進行樹木修剪的工人，必 須通過 VTC 舉辦的「樹藝業專業能力 評估」，自舉辦以來，已有超過 230 名考生接受評估。 職專教育 緊貼業界需要 為評估不同行業的人力和培訓需求， VTC 屬下的訓練委員會就 24 個行業分 別每四年進行一次全面的人力調查， 期間亦蒐集人力更新資料作補充。 調查結果為各界持份者提供有用參考， 有助未來人力策劃，以及制訂教育及 培訓政策。 我們編訂了網上「職業資料庫」，涵 蓋 12 個行業約 500 種職業，資料豐 富，助學生和在職人士規劃進修途徑 和事業發展。
