33 Workplace Learning and Assessment Workplace learning and assessment is instrumental in ensuring the successful integration of classroom study and workplace learning involving trainees, trainers and employers. Referencing best practice and successful experience in overseas countries, the VTC has introduced a web-based workplace learning and assessment platform to facilitate the acquisition of professional skills and recognition of qualifications. This new initiative has already been implemented in hospitality and interdisciplinary programmes and will be extended to engineering and applied science programmes in the next academic year. 職場學習及評核 由學員、訓練員及僱主共同參與的職 場學習及評核，對成功結合課堂學習 和職場實踐發揮重要作用。我們參考 外國推行職場學評的成功範例和經 驗，設立職場學習及評核網上平台， 以更有效地評估學員的能力，助他們 獲取相關認可資歷。 職場學評已於酒店及旅遊和跨學科課 程推行，並會於下學年擴展至工程及 應用科學課程。
