27 January 一月 Organised by HKDI and funded by CreateHK, the three-week Hong Kong Denim Festival was held in Hong Kong for the first time, featuring a series of activities including a denim bazaar, exhibition and design workshops, as well as seminars in PMQ, Central and Sham Shui Po fabric wholesale district to promote creative arts and culture. HKDI 獲「創新香港」資助舉辦首屆「香港牛仔節」， 於中環元創方及深水埗布藝批發市場進行一連三周的 精彩活動，包括牛仔市集嘉年華、展覽、設計工作坊 及講座，推廣創意藝術及文化。 February 二月 The VTC collaborated with J.P. Morgan to establish a three-year pilot initiative ‘Future-Ready Talent Incubation Program’ to benefit around 600 Higher Diploma students in the pursuit of STEM-related careers.
