25 June 六月 An 11-day annual design exhibition ‘Emerging Design Talents 2018: CHANCE’ was staged at Hong Kong Design Institute and IVE (Lee Wai Lee), showing the innovative projects of design students and graduates. HKDI 及 IVE （ 李 惠 利 ） 舉 行 為 期 11 日 的 年 度 設 計 展 ‘ Eme r g i ng Des i gn Ta l en t s 2018: CHANCE’ ， 展 出 設 計 學生及畢業生的優秀作品。 July 七月 The VTC and the CLP Power Academy entered into a partnership to launch a new part-time Power Engineering Diploma programme, providing upskilling opportunities for young people in the power industry. VTC 與中電學院合作開辦兼 讀制電力工程文憑課程，為 年輕人提供增值及行業發展 機會。 August 八月 The VTC, the Open University of Hong Kong, Caritas Institute of Higher Education and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers launched VPETCity, Hong Kong’s first cross-institutional online VPET teaching and learning platform. VTC 伙拍香港公開大學、明愛專上學院及明愛 白英奇專業學校，推出全港首個聯校創建的職業 專才教育網上學與教資源共享平台──職專教育城。 September 九月 Jointly organised by the VTC and overseas partner institutions, the 12th International Symposium on Advances in Technology Education was held in Hong Kong for the first time. The four-day symposium gathered some 250 educators and experts from institutions of higher education in engineering and technology at home and abroad to shape the future of VPET and to instil young people with the knowledge required for a smart future. VTC 聯同海外伙伴院校舉辦第 12 屆國際促進科技 教育研討會。一連四天的活動首次在港舉行，匯集 約 250 名本地和海外工程及科技高等教育院校的教 育學者和專家，探討職業專才教育的未來，以及如 何培育專才，推動智慧城市的發展。
