62 賢才薈萃 啓迪新知 2017/18 年，我們繼續透過國際訪問學 者資助計劃，邀請巴西、中國、德國、日 本、墨西哥、新加坡、台灣、英國和美國 等地的專家學者到港，當中包括名廚、學 者，亦有業界專家，他們主持講課、工作 坊、研討會、專業示範等，分享國際廚藝、 電影、形象設計、職業教育等課題的心得 灼見，為 VTC 師生提供向行業典範學習的 良機。 年內 VTC 舉辦及參與多項國際會議和論 壇。 2017 年 10 月，我們與香港瑞士商會、 瑞士溫特圖爾區推廣處合辦「蘇黎世與香 港的約會—成功之道：市場及實踐導向的 教育」研討會，向百多位業界人士宣揚職 業專才教育對年輕一代和經濟增長的重要 影響。 Bringing Home World Insights and Knowledge In 2017/18, the International Visiting Fellows/Scholars Scheme continued to bring in talent and expertise from Brazil, Mainland China, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The visiting fellows included master chefs, scholars and professionals in their fields who shared their experience and professional insights through lectures, workshops, seminars and demonstrations, covering international cuisine, film, image design and vocational education. This allowed our staff and students to learn from the best in the industries. The VTC also organised and participated in various international conferences and forums during the year. The ‘Zürich meets Hong Kong – Skills for Success’ seminar, jointly organised by the VTC, Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Location Promotion Winterthur Region, Switzerland, was held in October 2017, showcasing to over 100 industry participants the importance of VPET to young people and economic growth.
