60 掌握新機遇 年內我們的學生到大灣區城市進行各類行 業實習、交流和觀摩，加深認識區內的發 展潛力，有助拓闊視野和未來發展。此 外，約有 1,500 名 VTC 學生參加「一帶一 路」沿線國家交流、比賽、企業參觀和實習 等，踏足的國家包括柬埔寨、印尼、哈薩 克、俄羅斯、新西蘭、新加坡、南韓、泰 國、阿聯酋和越南。 另外， THEi 的學生前往拉脫維亞、愛沙尼 亞、俄羅斯交流觀摩，加深認識當地的經 濟發展。我們亦安排就讀 IVE 及 HTI 的酒店 及旅遊學科學生遊學越南，學習有關郵輪 營運和當地旅遊業的知識。面向大灣區和 一帶一路的發展，我們會繼續促進與不同 地域院校和業界之間的跨境合作，鼓勵學 生為未來發展開拓更多機遇。 Embracing New Opportunities During the year, our students took advantage of various opportunities for industry attachments, exchanges and visits throughout the Greater Bay Area. Obtaining better knowledge of this area's growth and great potential helps broaden students' horizons and development paths. Also, around 1,500 VTC students joined activities covering exchanges, competitions and industrial visits and attachments in Belt and Road countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Russia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam. To understand more about the future opportunities, an exchange tour to Latvia, Estonia and Russia was arranged for our THEi students to enrich their understanding of economic developments in these countries. Another study tour to Vietnam was arranged for IVE and HTI students studying hospitality related programmes, to equip them with knowledge of cruise operation and learn about the country’s tourism industry. The VTC will continue to build deeper cross-border collaboration with institutions and industries in the Greater Bay Area and Belt and Road regions and encourage students to seize emerging opportunities for their future development.
