56 業界捐助 培育菁英 VTC 得到業界伙伴的堅實支持，亦獲得 不同慈善基金與機構的襄助，令我們大 受鼓舞。 2017/18 年度，怡和機器、香 港煤氣公司、 Microsoft 等機構加入捐助 VTC 學生發展基金，支持全日制學生的 多元發展。 得到利銘澤黃瑤璧慈善基金的捐助，我 們成立新的獎學金計劃，嘉許學業優異 及有顯著進步的職專文憑課程學生。獎 學金亦惠及 HTI 、 CCI 、 ICI 款接及廚藝文 憑課程的學生，讓他們有機會到海外深 造。 此外，香港老爺車會亦資助汽車工程相 關文憑及高級文憑課程的學生參加海外 體驗學習計劃，增進專業知識、擴闊眼 界。 Donations and Scholarships Complementing the strong support of its industry partners, the VTC is encouraged by the staunch philanthropic support from various charitable foundations and organisations. In 2017/18, several new donations for the VTC Student Development Foundation were received including those from Jardine Engineering Corporation, Towngas and Microsoft to support the all-round development of our full-time students. We were delighted to have a new scholarship scheme established by the Drs Richard Charles & Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation to recognise Diploma of Vocational Education students who excel in academic performance and make the most development progress. The scholarships also offer Diploma students studying hospitality and culinary programmes at the HTI, CCI and ICI the chance to enhance their vocational skills overseas. Meanwhile, the Classic Car Club of Hong Kong has provided sponsorship for our Diploma and Higher Diploma students in automotive studies to participate in overseas programmes, giving them the opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge and broaden their horizons and international exposure.
