43 Promoting Smart Learning Given the rich potential of technology and development, we have built up our technology-enhanced teaching capabilities to enhance learning outcomes. One shining example is the newly-established VTC STEM Education Centres. The Centres co-work with leading enterprises and institutions, undertaking interdisciplinary projects to nurture interest in learning STEM subjects among the younger generation. Industry veterans will be further invited to join the Centres’ Train the 推動智慧學習 隨著科技發展，我們將新技術融入教學， 加強學習成效。新近成立的 VTC STEM 教 育中心正是好例子。中心積極與具領導地 位的企業及專業團體協作，推展跨學科合 作項目，培育年輕一代對科學、科技、工 程及數學等 STEM 學科的學習興趣。中心 會招募業界專才參加指導員訓練計劃，受 訓後擔任 STEM 大使，向社會推廣 STEM 教育和相關行業的出路。 我們在現有課程增設新單元，教授學生有 關人工智能、數碼支付技術、資訊保安、 大數據等範疇的新知識。 Trainer coaching scheme and become STEM Ambassadors, promoting STEM learning and career development in the community. To inoculate students with new knowledge, new modules were also introduced into existing programmes in areas of artificial intelligence, digital payments, cyber security and big data.
