Investing in Teaching and Learning Facilities Success in VPET cannot be achieved without the continuous development of our hardware and software, making full use of advanced technologies. In 2017/18, we invested further significant resources in the enhancement of our campus and training facilities. The new, purpose-built THEi campus in Chai Wan encompasses eco-friendly elements, providing a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students. Our ICI saw a brand-new campus opened in 2018, enhancing VTC’s strength in offering a wide range of professional culinary programmes. To facilitate graduates’ transition from school to the world of work, we made full use of innovative technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) to provide interactive and impactful learning experiences through simulated workplace training. Further new specialist training facilities are in the pipeline, including a BIMiHub and Co-creation Centre. These will bring innovation characteristics to our teaching, and at the same time encourage further collaboration and partnerships with industries to groom the future workforce. 優化教學設施 職業專才教育成功發展，有賴與時並進的 軟硬件配套，還要善用各種先進科技。有 見及此，我們在 2017/18 年度繼續投放 資源，優化 VTC 校舍及各項培訓設施。 位於柴灣的 THEi 新校舍，在設計中融入環 保元素，為學員提供一個互動融和的學習 環境；而於 2018 年啟用的 ICI 新校舍，則 有助 VTC 提供更多元化的專業廚藝課程。 為協助畢業生投入職場，我們充分利用虛 擬實境和擴增實境技術，讓學生透過互動 形式，體驗工作場景。即將落成的培訓設 施包括 BIM 創新中心及科創中心等，將為 教學注入創新元素，緊貼行業應用，亦有 助促進與業界的合作，培育新一代專才。 22
