Honorary Fellowships

Mrs Margaret CHENG LAW Wai-fun is the Head - Corporate Human Resources of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited. She has over 30 years of experience in the business profession.
 

Mrs Cheng has made valuable contributions to vocational education in Hong Kong. She has been a Member of VTC’s Business Administration Discipline Advisory Board since 2007 and has led the Product Positioning and Portfolio Committee, a sub-committee of the Board since 2008, providing valuable perspectives on strengthening the strategic positioning of VTC programmes for the business profession. More so, she has actively sought the support of Board Members and industry partners to provide VTC students with attachment and placement opportunities. Since 2008, Mrs Cheng has served as the Chairperson of the Committee on Management and Supervisory Training of VTC, offering advice on curriculum and course plans for business management programmes.
 

She has also been a Member of VTC’s Transport and Physical Distribution Training Board and the Chairperson of the Transport Logistics Training Board. During her tenure, Mrs Cheng actively participated in government consultative committees and in consultancy studies of the Port and Maritime Board on strengthening Hong Kong’s role as the preferred logistics hub globally and regionally.
 

In recognition of her contribution to VTC, she was presented the“ VTC’s 25th Anniversary Outstanding Honorary Award” in 2007.
