Honorary Fellowships

Mr Patrick BRUCE has over 35 years of design experience globally in the consultancy, industrial manufacturing and education sectors. He was a founding member of the Oval Partnership group of companies and is the Director of the Oval Partnership Limited which specialises in sustainable lifestyle projects in the Asia Pacific region. Currently, he is also the CEO of INTEGER China Limited, a company established under the Oval Partnership, with a vision to bringing intelligent and green building designs to Greater China and the Asia markets. He was Managing Director of Conran Design Pacific Limited, Hong Kong, from 1988 to 1992.
 

Mr Bruce is a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers and was the former Deputy Chairman of the Society in Hong Kong. He has served on the Panel of Judges in the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2007. Mr Bruce is committed to promoting sustainable urban design concepts, especially in China. He has served as guest speaker to share his perspectives and experience in contemporary design concepts at numerous international design conferences.
 

Mr Bruce has made significant contributions to the work of Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), serving as a member of the Curriculum Review and Improvement Sub-committee under the Design Institute Advisory Board since 2005. His company, Oval Partnership, has been a longstanding partner of HKDI in support of its industrial attachment programmes.
