58 IVE食品科技及安全高級文憑學生與譚仔國際合 作,成功將餐廳的腩肉廚餘升級再造,轉化為滋 潤的手工肥皂、潤唇膏及香薰蠟燭等日用品。 HKDI 視覺傳意及廣告設計高級文憑學生更聯手設 計「腩肉小天使」產品包裝;而製作流程則由新 生精神復康會的復元人士主理。此項計劃匯聚商 界、社福界與教育界三方力量,充分發揮職專知 識與技能,推動環境可持續發展及社會共融。 Students from IVE’s HD in Food Technology and Safety teamed up with Tam Jai International to upcycle surplus pork belly into nourishing soap, lip balm, and candles. The product packaging was decorated with the character "Porky Angel", jointly created by HKDI students from HD in Visual Communication Design and HD in Advertising Design. People in mental recovery with New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association were also involved in the production process. This tripartite collaboration of education institution, business and community partner has demonstrated the value of applied VPET knowledge and skills in promoting environmental sustainability and social inclusion. Transforming Food Waste into Everyday Products 廚餘升級再造 變身滋養日用品 由青年學院職專文憑(時裝)學生打造的二十多 套復古服裝,活現四十年代至九十年代的時尚演 變,於利東街「Vintage Remix - 與經典再造時裝 騷」精彩亮相。活動由VTC社區參與辦事處與文 化機構「融HUB」聯合主辦,邀得救世軍長者模 特兒與專業模特兒攜手演繹學生作品,並由職專 文憑(形象設計)學生精心打造妝容。此項目不 僅回顧時尚歷程,更促進了長者和年青學生融洽 相處和交流,實現跨代和諧。 Designed by students from DVE (Fashion) of Youth College, over twenty sets of retro outfits showcasing the evolution of fashion from the 1940s to the 1990s were staged at the “Vintage Remix Fashion Show” on Lee Tung Avenue, jointly organised by VTC Community Engagement Unit and cultural organisation Fusion HUB. Senior models from The Salvation Army joined professional models to present the students’ fashion creations, with makeup by students from DVE (Image Design). This project celebrated the evolution of fashion while fostering intergenerational harmony, allowing students to engage directly with elderly participants.
