56 Rewarding Learning Journeys 豐盛學習之旅 2024年盛夏,THEi高科院廚藝及管理(榮譽) 文學士三年級學生李澤敏(Carol)踏上了前往法 國盧昂的非凡旅程。這座城市被聯合國教科文組織 譽為「美食之都」,她在此渡過三周,沉浸於法式 烹飪美學之中。 在法國駐港澳總領事館2024 年度French+ Gastronomy 計劃的全額贊助下,Carol 得以展開 這段獨特的學習旅程。每天早上,她以法語課程 開啟學習,下午則到FAUCHON學校,與名廚、 朱古力匠人、甜點師及農業專家一同探索法式 烹飪的奧妙,感受法國文化和傳統。 Carol 表示:「能夠走出課室、踏上這趟珍貴旅程, 不僅為我的廚藝研習帶來無窮靈感,更為日後職業 發展注入更廣闊的視野和紮實的技藝基礎。」 In the summer of 2024, Carol LEE Chak-man, a passionate Year 3 student from THEi’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Culinary Arts and Management programme, went on a remarkable three-week journey to Rouen in France, the designated “Gastronomic City” by UNESCO. Carol embarked on this transformative trip with full sponsorship under the 2024 French+Gastronomy Programme by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau. During her stay in Rouen, Carol deeply immersed herself in culture and rich culinary heritage of France, attending French language classes every morning and exploring the intricacies of French cooking in the afternoon with master chefs, chocolatiers, pastry chefs, and agricultural specialists in the FAUCHON School. “This Programme flourished me with profound insights into the world of gastronomy beyond classrooms, empowering my future academic and career aspirations with enriched perspectives and robust culinary techniques,” Carol said.
