44 Driving Workforce Development through Industry Collaboration 行業協作 推動人力發展 Harnessing Synergy through Strategic Partnerships In the year under review, the VTC has further strengthened its industry partnership, with specific focus on fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration to drive mutual growth. While industry partners provide unparalleled opportunities to VTC students for developing career readiness, the VTC contributes its expertise of in-service training to support industry partners in upskilling and reskilling their workforce. During the year, the VTC signed MoU with Government departments, including the Hong Kong Police Force, Customs and Excise Department, and Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Through these collaborations, the VTC supports manpower training for disciplinary services, as well as the modern development of local agriculture and fisheries industries. In support of Hong Kong’s hydrogen development strategy, partnerships have been established with China Inspection Company Limited and Refire, a leading hydrogen fuel system supplier, to develop training programmes on hydrogen energy applications and safety awareness. 與策略伙伴協同成長 過去一年，VTC 進一步深化與業界的合作，並積極 推動與業界的跨學科協作，促進互惠共贏。業界伙 伴為學生提供寶貴的實習與職場體驗機會，協助他 們提升就業競爭力；與此同時，VTC亦為行業提供 在職培訓服務，協助企業員工提升專業知識及掌握 新技能，助力業界的人力發展。 年內，VTC與多個政府部門簽署合作備忘錄，包括 香港警務處、香港海關及漁農自然護理署，以加強 支援紀律部隊的人力培訓，並促進本地漁農業現代 化發展。為配合香港氫能策略，VTC與中國檢驗有 限公司及頂尖氫燃料系統生產商重塑能源建立合作 關係，編訂氫能源應用及安全意識培訓課程。 The VTC formed strategic partnership with Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong's new sports and entertainment landmark, to develop skilled professionals across disciplines.
