17 Furthermore, VTC students showcased socially impactful projects at the VTC-ITE International Student Seminar 2024, alongside VPET students from Singapore and Shenzhen. Hosted by the VTC, this three-day seminar provided an exemplary opportunity for around 600 VPET students from three places to learn from one another, further enhancing their professional skills and global mindset. Since the establishment of Community Engagement Unit in 2022, over 2,700 VTC students have actively contributed to their communities through participating in 70 collaboration projects, benefiting more than 7,000 community members. We also launched the CommunityQuest Scheme, which empowers students to address real-world challenges with creativity and social responsibility, further emphasising their skills and commitment to making a positive impact.
