12 Enhancing Global Competence Recognising the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) across industries worldwide, the VTC actively promotes AI literacy and integration through curriculum enhancement, staff capability building, infrastructure upgrades, and industry collaborations. Sustainability and green energy have emerged as critical drivers in the global market. In response, the VTC is fortifying the provision of pre-employment and in-service training in new energy transportation to support the manpower needed for Hong Kong’s electric vehicle and hydrogen development strategies.
