Leave, Benefits and Financial Support To enhance staff well-being and meet family needs, flexible leave arrangements, comprehensive staff benefits and financial support are offered to eligible staff. Leave Leave types include full-pay maternity, paternity, marriage and compassionate leave, along with special early release arrangements during festive periods Benefits Medical and dental coverage, housing benefits, workplace lactation rooms, employer’s voluntary MPF contribution and tuition discounts for employees’ family members enrolling in VTC self-financing courses Financial Assistance Salary advances to support staff for major life events and ex-gratia death support to help surviving families during times of hardship Holistic Wellness and Staff Support At the VTC, we are committed to cultivating a healthy and supportive workplace – for our people and the communities we serve. Through our dedicated initiatives, we nurture the physical, mental and social well-being of everyone connected to the VTC. Wellness Activities Holistic well-being is promoted through regular wellness talks, workshops and health booths. Staff also take part in recreational sports events and competitions organised by the Council. WORKFORCE ENGAGEMENT AND WELL-BEING The VTC fosters a culture of open communication and trust where collaboration is the norm. Through supportive policies and comprehensive well-being initiatives, we are cultivating a positive, motivated and engaged workforce that grows and succeeds together. Employee Assistance Programme Confidential counselling and consultation services are offered to staff and their immediate families to help them manage stress and personal challenges. Sports Therapy Clinic The clinic at the THEi Sports Therapy Centre offered professional sports massage, guided stretching and injuryprevention advice. Dress Casual Friday Staff are encouraged to embrace a healthy lifestyle by engaging in sports or recreational activities during leisure time. 20
