GREEN CAMPUS HIGHLIGHTS Sustainability Events with VTC Community Green Day @IVE (Morrison Hill) and Sustainable Future Carnival @IVE (Tuen Mun) The events championed environmental awareness and sustainable lifestyles through student-led booths, seminars and interactive games. Organised with community partners, they aimed to inspire students and staff to adopt eco-friendly habits and showcase practical ways to live green. Recycling Programmes Mooncake Box and Lai See Envelope Collection for Recycling Campaigns were organised across multiple premises in collaboration with partners such as Greeners Action, Maxim’s and Mil Mill. Language Learning Green Activities Hands-on upcycling workshops at the Centre for Independent Language Learning integrated sustainability with language learning. Participants transformed waste materials into unique art pieces, fostering eco-conscious creativity. Herb Garden @VTC Pokfulam Complex Students were provided with hands-on experience of the “Farm to Table” cycle, where institutional food waste was composted at O·Park1 and reused in the herb garden, promoting a circular economy and sustainable resource use.
