Note :

Applicants who are given "Firm Offer" should download the payment advice and offer documents via "VTC S6 Admission Portal" and complete registration before the stipulated deadline.

 

 

Submission of Application
 

Please submit your application by using smart phone or desktop computer via the “VTC S6 Admission Portal”. 

  • Submit personal information and academic qualifications
  • Select programme choice(s) in each category to increase the opportunity for admission.  Applicant may select a maximum of 8 programmes, with no more than
    • 1 Degree programme;
    • 3 Higher Diploma programmes;
    • 2 Diploma of Foundation Studies programmes; and
    • 2 Diploma of Vocational Education / Diploma programmes
      (Indicate at least 2 campus preferences for programmes with more than 1 offering campus)
      Before submitting the programme choices, please refer to this homepage for details of programme and specific entrance requirements
  • Pay the application fee

Programmes listed in this homepage accept applications only from local students.

Provision of any FALSE or MISLEADING information in your application will lead to DISQUALIFICATION without notice and cancellation of any resultant registration. Any fees paid will not be refunded.
 

 

VTC S6 Admission Portal

  • Please submit the application by the following methods during 23 May to 23 June 2023 :

Applicants must first register for an account to access the portal, and then follow the prescribed steps and instructions to complete their application.

  • Current HKDSE students may apply through E-APP Logo. After the E-APP application reached VTC, applicants will be notified by email to login “VTC S6 Admission Portal” to provide supplementary information and pay the application fee.
  • Applicants may click here for the user guide of the "VTC S6 Admission Portal".

Personal Particulars

  • Please provide a valid and correct email address and mobile phone number in your application. Important information will be sent to you by email and SMS.
  • After submitting the application, you should inform the Admissions Office immediately of any changes to your personal particulars. Applicants may update the log-in password, Chinese name, contact no., corresponding address etc via the "VTC S6 Admission Portal". If applicants need to amend the English name, HKID No., Date of Birth or Registered Email Address, please download the "Change of Particulars Notification Form" here.

Academic Qualifications and Supplementary Information

Local Qualifications
 

  • Applicants' Hong Kong public examination results will be extracted from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority’s records.
  • Applicants can apply with results of the same public examination obtained in different years. The best grade of multiple attempts on a particular subject will be assessed for admission.
  • Applicants who will obtain Diploma Yi Jin in 2023, please submit copies of the result slip / certificate to the VTC Admissions Office by email or in person on or before 15 July 2023 (12 noon). Applicants should apply for their Diploma Yi Jin results slip or certificate at their institution as soon as possible.
  • For VTC graduates (Foundation Diploma (Level 3) / Diploma of Foundation Studies / Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate / SBI Yi Jin Diploma / SBI Diploma Yi Jin), their academic qualifications will be extracted from VTC’s Student Records System.
     

Other Local, Mainland China and Other Non-local Qualifications
 

  • Applicants may apply with other local, Mainland China or non-local qualifications. Applications will be assessed individually by the departments concerned. Please give relevant details in the section on "Other Local / Mainland China / Non-local Qualifications" and upload copies of the result slips.
     

Supplementary Information
 

  • Applicants with Special Educational Needs
    • Applicants with special circumstances: hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical handicap, speech impairment, intellectual disabilities, mental illness, autism, visceral disability / chronic illness, specific learning disability, attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder.
    • Please give details of the special educational needs in the section on "Supplementary Information" and upload copies of relevant documents.
    • For information on the provision of support services to students with special educational needs, please refer to the website Information for Special Educational Needs.
  • Mature Applicants
    • If applicants are aged 25 or above on or before 1 September 2023 and they do not meet the entrance requirements for Degree programmes OR aged 21 or above on or before 1 September 2023 and they do not meet the entrance requirements for Higher Diploma, Diploma of Foundation Studies, Diploma of Vocational Education or Diploma programmes, they may apply for admission as a mature applicant.
    • Applications from mature applicants will be considered on an individual basis. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge, potential and ability that they would likely complete the programme successfully. Applicants will not have priority over other applicants, and only a limited number of places are offered to suitable mature applicants.

  • Applicants with Work Experience
    • Please give details in the section on "Supplementary Information" and upload copies of employment record and other relevant documents.
       

Note :

If applicant fails to upload copies of the result slips / qualifications via the "VTC S6 Admission Portal", applicant may submit copies of relevant documents to the Admissions Office on or before 23 June 2023. Please write down the applicant's name in English, HKID card number and contact phone number on the back of the copies / in the email.
