It covers Safety, Health and Environment, Building Services Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, Electrical Services Practices, Project Skills and Final Year Project. Graduates may be employed as technicians or assistant to engineers in the trade of building services engineering. Students may obtain an extra intermediate award of Certificate of Vocational Education (Building Services Engineering) [CVE(BSE)] upon completion of corresponding core modules. CVE(BSE) is recognised by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR as satisfying the academic requirements for the registration as Grade A Electrical Worker.
