基礎課程文憑 Diploma of Foundation Studies 2024/25學年，夜間兼讀制基礎課程文憑開設以下分流︰ In AY2024/25, the following stream of Diploma of Foundation Studies will be offered in part-time evening mode of study: 工程 Engineering FS523002E 開辦分校 Offering Campus IVE(HW) 修讀期 Study Duration@ 2 年 Years 畢業所需修讀學分 Required No. of Credits for Graduation* 176 本課程透過理論、思考和實踐，讓同學掌握基本的應用技術，並培育學生對工程行業的興趣。 The programme aims to develop students' interest in the engineering industry, and to help them acquire the basic application techniques through theoretical and practical training. @ 學生須按學院的編排修讀課程，每星期平均上課3 - 4晚，每學年一般3個學期 (包括夏季學期)。 Students are required to follow the programme arrangements stipulated by IVE, on average 3 - 4 evenings per week, normally 3 semesters (with summer semester) per academic year. * 所有學生須修讀全人發展單元 (共16學分) 並取得合格，方可畢業。如學生已累積不少於一年全職工作經驗 (由達到基礎課程文憑入學要 求起計算)，可申請「豁免修讀」，並進行評核。若取得及格成績，便能豁免修讀相關單元。 All students will be required to take and pass all of the Whole Person Development modules (total 16 credits) before graduation.
