The programmes equip students with professional knowledge and practical skills required in the workplace. The programme is widely recognised by the industries and the qualifications are recognised by relevant government departments as meeting the academic requirements to apply for a professional license. 證書 Certificate 電器裝置技術員證書 Certificate in Electrical Installation Technicians 水喉全科證書 Certificate in Plumbing and Pipefitting 電工證書 Certificate in Electrician • 課程教授在職電氣從業人員相關的電學理論及知識，畢業 生能符合香港特區政府機電工程署「B級電業工程人員」 的學術水平要求。 • To provide practicing electricians with knowledge and theory in related to electrical engineering. Graduates will fulfill the academic requirement for registration as Grade B Electrical Workers under the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR. • 課程為在職人士提供水喉全科之工藝理論及實習訓練，內容包括水喉實習、水務及建造 繪圖、食水及沖廁供水、消防機械裝置、房屋建築、熱水供水、水喉工料量度、資訊科 技初階、水喉科學、水喉數學、排水系統、綜合工程裝備繪圖及喉管安裝等。 • 課程獲香港特區政府水務署批核為持牌水喉匠必需修讀課程。畢業生可受聘於建築地盤 或裝修公司為水喉技工，亦可繼續進修短期課程以考取水務署水喉匠執照。根據香港《 水務條例》要求，除了一些小型工作外，所有水務工程必須由持牌水喉匠進行。現今香 港高樓大廈林立，建屋項目極多，對合資格的水喉匠需求殷切，完成此課程的畢業生， 出路極佳。 • The programme provides working adults and in-service apprentices with craft knowledge and practical training in plumbing and pipefitting. Areas include Plumbing Practice, Plumbing & Construction Drawing, Potable & Flush Water Supplies, Fire Services Mechanical Installation, Building Construction, Hot Water Supply, Plumbing Measurement, Introduction to Information Technology, Plumbing Science, Plumbing Mathematics, Drainage Systems, Combined Services Engineering Drawing and Pipe Work installation, etc. • This programme is approved by the Water Supplies Department (WSD) of the HKSAR Government as a pre-requisite for recognition as a Licensed Plumber. Graduates could be employed in construction sites or renovation companies as craftsmen in plumbing and pipefitting. They could also attend short courses to help them acquire plumbers’ licences recognised by the Water Supplies Department. Pursuant to the Water Supply Ordinance, all plumbing installation (except some minor works) must be undertaken by Licensed Plumbers. As there is a great demand for qualified plumbers in the construction industry, this programme provides a good career prospect for our graduates. • 課程為電機業的在職人士提供電機工程之基本原理及實務訓練，內容涵蓋電力裝置工 藝、電氣安裝實習、電機控制實習、電工基本技能訓練、工業電子、直流電路、交流電 路及高壓系统與設備等。 • 本課程獲香港特區政府機電工程署申請認可為符合「A級電業工程人員註冊證明書」的 學歷要求。畢業生大多數受聘為家居及辦公室電氣維修技工、電氣技工或電氣設備裝 配技工。學生完成課程後，加上實際工作經驗，可申請註冊為「A級電業工程人員」。 • The programme equips electrical practitioners with sound technical knowledge and practical skills to suit the demands at works as a competent electrical craftsman. Areas being covered include Electrical Installation Technology, Electrical Installation Practices, Electrical Control Practice, Electrical Skills Fundamental Training, Industrial Electronics, Direct Current Circuit, Alternating Current Circuit and High-voltage System & Equipment, etc. • This programme is approved by EMSD for the recognition as meeting the academic requirement for the registration as Grade A Electrical Worker. Graduates are normally employed as office maintenance electrician, electrical installation electrician and electrical services fitter.
