Areas include Plumbing Practice, Plumbing & Construction Drawing, Potable & Flush Water Supplies, Fire Services Mechanical Installation, Building Construction, Hot Water Supply, Plumbing Measurement, Introduction to Information Technology, Plumbing Science, Plumbing Mathematics, Drainage Systems, Combined Services Engineering Drawing and Pipe Work Installation, etc. •The programme is approved by the Water Supplies Department (WSD) of the HKSAR as a pre-requisite for recognition as a Licensed Plumber. Graduates may be employed in construction sites or renovation companies as craftsmen in plumbing and pipefitting. They may also attend short courses to help them acquire plumbers’ licences recognised by the Water Supplies Department. Pursuant to the Waterworks Ordinance, all plumbing installation (except some minor works) must be undertaken by Licensed Plumbers.
