Students will learn how to collect data through smart devices, perform effective data transformation and storage, conduct data analysis and visualization for engineering applications, including programming, computer systems theory, database management and statistics. As data is stored in the cloud and requires secure transmission, students will also learn about cloud computing and Internet-of-Things (IoT) Cybersecurity.
