2015/16學年起，政府推出「指定專業 / 界別課程資助計劃」(SSSDP)，資助學生修讀經本地評審 的指定全日制自資學士學位課程1，以培育切合本港社會及經濟需要的人才。於2026/27學年，THEi 高科院有11個學士學位課程獲納入資助計劃，包括土木工程、屋宇設備工程2、園藝樹藝及園境 管理2、運動及康樂管理、運動教練、運動治療、廚藝及管理、時裝設計、產品設計、園境建築 及測量學。相關課程主要經由「大學聯合招生辦法」(JUPAS)3分配學額；非應届聯招(非聯招)的 本地學生亦可獲直接取錄，但取錄人數不得超過各指定課程資助學額的20%4。合資格的本地同 學每年可最多獲港幣四萬六千七百八十元或八萬一千四百五十元學費資助，其中入讀資助計劃下 獲教育局納入應用學位先導計劃課程的合資格全日制本地學生，則每年最多獲港幣五萬一千八百 八十元或八萬九千六百二十元學費資助5。 Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) was introduced by the Government starting from the academic year 2015/16 to subsidise students to pursue designated full-time locallyaccredited self-financing undergraduate programmes in selected disciplines1 to nurture talents to meet Hong Kong’s social and economic needs. Eleven of THEi’s degree programmes are included in SSSDP in the academic year 2026/27, namely Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering2, Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management2, Sports and Recreation Management, Sports Coaching, Sports Therapy, Culinary Arts and Management, Fashion Design, Product Design, Landscape Architecture and Surveying. The subsidised places in these programmes are allocated mainly through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS)3. Non-JUPAS local applicants can also be admitted via direct admission of no more than 20% of the subsidised places of each designated programme4.
