Why couldn't the Chat interface display on my computer screen?
 

It is because your computer is not installed with the correct version of JRE (Java Runtime Environment).

In general, JRE version 1.6.11 or later can be used to browse WebCT.

Click the hyperlink at the bottom of the WebCT Portal page to download the application.
