When I performed browser check, I was informed that my computer could not pass the "Java Check". What should I do?

Java is a programming language which enables certain useful functions within WebCT CE. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is required.

In general, Java Runtime Environment version 1.6.11 or later is used to browse WebCT.

Remarks:

If you are using the latest version of JRE (e.g. 1.6.11) with Chinese Windows, the HTML Creator of WebCT does not function. You need to change your PC settings.

Go to "Control Panel (控制台)", reselect the "Regional & Language (地區及語言選項)" option to English (United States) 英文(美國). Consequently, all the functions of WebCT can be used.
