The Information Technology Training and Development Centre (ITTDC) was set up to provide IT training for new entrants and upgrading training for IT professionals; to provide industry support for small and medium enterprises; to establish an IT information centre and to organise special groups for applied research on new technologies and the development and popularisation of software systems using such technologies in specific economic sectors.
