Employers Eligible for the Scheme
Any non-government subvented organisation in Hong Kong wishing to acquire a new technology for commercial application may apply for training grant under the Scheme.
Trainees Eligible for the Scheme
Any permanent resident in Hong Kong who is sponsored by his employer and has the necessary background/experience to benefit from the training will be eligible.
Application Procedure
Employers should complete and return the application form to the Vocational Training Council before the commencement of training with the trainee's Hong Kong Identity Card copy. There is no specific deadlines for submission of applications.
For tailor-made training courses, please contact the Technologist Training Unit for application forms. A meeting will be scheduled to explain the application procedure.
For course providers, please submit the course proposals at least 4 weeks before the commencement of the training courses to allow sufficient time for processing.
