:Facilities Management
is rapidly developing in Hong Kong over the past
years. In addition to existing establishments, new
infrastructure and building facilities continue
to grow in number leading to a strong demand for
facilities management professionals now and years
to come. The HD in Facilities Management launched
by the REFM Department of IVE provides students
a career path of development in this emerging industry,
which in turn helps the development of the economy
of Hong Kong as a whole.; |

:This practical programme benefits me a lot. The trip to the Mainland deepened my understanding of the course. I also learnt more about the industry prospect through various site visits and the placement. I am glad to have chosen this course and be awarded the Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship by which I was full granted to further my degree study in the UK and be exempted the first-year study of BSc (Hons) in Construction Management & Surveying in the University of Reading. I am now studying the MSc in Facility and Environment Management in the University College London. I have already secured a position in a global company. Upon graduation, I will pursue my career in surveying and facilities management industry.; |
