Welcome to the IVE (Lee Wai Lee) website.

IVE (Lee Wai Lee), formerly known as Lee Wai Lee Technical Institute, was founded in 1979 and was the fifth publicly funded Technical Institute in Hong Kong. Throughout the years, we have not only offered a wide range of high quality courses, but also committed ourselves to the intellectual and physical growth of our students.

Currently there are five academic departments in IVE (Lee Wai Lee), namely, Department of Automotive Engineering, Department of Business Administration, Department of Child Education and Community Services, Department of Computing and Information Management, and Department of Engineering Management and Technology. IVE (Lee Wai Lee) is the only IVE campus which offers courses in Early Childhood Education, Gerontology, Optics, Ophthalmic Dispensing, Watch Making, Jewelry Design, and Automotive Engineering. All academic departments maintain strong ties with their respective industries.

Looking forward to 2010, our Campus will be relocated to its new home in Tseung Kwan O, adjacent to the Hong Kong Design Institute. The curricula of some programmes will be rationalized to achieve better synergy in order to support the long term strategic development of the respective disciplines to better serve the needs of society. We will continue to provide professional vocational education, producing graduates with the ability to meet the needs of industry, commerce and the community at large.
