Job Attachment
The Workplace Attachment Scheme is implemented by the Department of Business Administration, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan). The aim of the Scheme is to provide training opportunities for students in conjunction with the industry. By establishing and maintaining a close relationship with the industry, the Department aims to enhance students’ exposure to the business community through their application of knowledge and skills in the curriculum to the business environment. The synergy of curriculum application and industry experience aims to better prepare our students to be result-oriented professionals who are ready for the workplace when they graduate.
Participating organizations can make use of the scheme to identify and train suitable students who can later take up full-time positions in their organizations. This will reduce the search costs of the participating organizations in recruitment and selection.
