HKALE (1 A-Level subject or 2 AS-Level subjects at Grade E or above) AND HKCEE (5 subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language, Mathematics and Chinese Language); OR Equivalent.

This course provides students with academic, technical and management skills that will enable them to pursue a career in sales & marketing or related fields. Articulation Arrangement
Graduates are eligible to apply for relevant degree courses organised by SHAPE:
- BA (Hons) Business and Management, or BA (Hons) Marketing offered by Leeds Metropolitan University, UK (Third Year); and
- BA (Hons) International Business Management offered by University of Northumbria at Newcastle, UK (Third Year).
Industrial Recognition
Graduates are eligible for obtaining exemption from the following professional examinations:
- Full exemption from the Professional Certificate Examination of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK; and
- Partial exemption (8 papers out of 10) from the qualifying examination of the Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM).
Career Prospects
Graduates may take up sales and marketing related posts at technical, supervisory and managerial level. They may work as marketing / sales executives, marketing officers, advertising representatives, PR executives, customer officers, etc. They can also be employed in import / export, wholesale / retail, advertising / PR, mass media and e-Commerce fields. Job opportunities are available in both public and private sectors.
