    Centre for Independent Language Learning

     

    The Centre for Independent Language Learning, with good facilities and rich learning resources, allows students to enhance their English, Chinese and Putonghua flexibly through self-learning.
     

    Learning Resources Centres

     

    The Learning Resources Centres in IVE, HKDI and Youth College Campuses provide a multimedia learning resources environment conducive to study, research and leisure reading. The library services include loans of materials, references, photocopying, inter-library loans and library user education. The library collections in each of the Learning Resources Centres ranges from 40,000 to 90,000 volumes catering to the needs of all its users. In addition to books, journals and audio-visual materials, the Learning Resources Centres also subscribe to electronic databases to enable students to have access to the latest information worldwide.
     

    Information Technology Services

     

    In order to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness and to ensure that our students can keep pace with IT to meet rapid changes and new challenges in the future, the campuses provide the following IT services:

    Student Affairs Office

     

    The Student Affairs Office is responsible for the management and development of student activities and a variety of student-centred services, including student development programme, career and counselling services, sports activities, leadership training, and management of sports facilities. Through the activities and services provided by the Office, students benefit from all-rounded development through enriched experiences and horizons. The Office also gives advice to the Students' Unions and student societies of the campuses and serves as a channel of communication between the students and the campuses.
