    Diploma in Vocational Education (DVE) programmes offered by Youth College provide Secondary 3 to Secondary 5 graduates with a valued study choice outside mainstream education. Over 10 different career specialisations are provided in DVE to match your interests and help you develop your full potential for future studies as well as enhance your job prospects.

     

    Programme Features

    The DVE Programmes adopt credit-based modules and offers a wide variety of specialisations covering three major areas: Business and Services, Engineering as well as Design and Technology.

    Students having completed Secondary 3 may normally take 3 years to study for DVE award.  DVE graduates are eligible to apply Higher Diploma programmes offered by IVE and HKDI.

    The curriculum is designed with reference to the general descriptors of the Qualifications Framework by the Government and the qualifications are well-recognised.


    Students may choose to study relevant modules to obtain an award of Basic Craft Certificate (BCC) or Technician Foundation Certificate (TFC) to pursue employment in relevant industries.
