Vocational Training Council

Many students will seek support and advice from teachers and counsellors before moving on to pursue further studies. Under this section, you can learn more about VTC through perspectives from our students and the industries, and get some updates on VTC’s upcoming events, helping you advise your students as they plan their future studies. You are also welcome to visit our campuses and arrange school talks for your students.

Articulation pathways for Secondary School Graduates/ Leavers
VTC provides diversified articulation pathways to secondary students from different levels. Students can pursue our vocational education and training programmes at various entry points including post-Secondary 3/4/5/6 and acquire vocational knowledge, skills and values as well as recognised qualifications ranging from certificate to sub-degree and degree levels for enhanced employability and lifelong learning.

VTC member institutions, IVE and HKDI, offer Higher Diploma and Foundation Diploma; while Youth College offers the multi-entry multi-exit programme of Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE), and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers vocationally-oriented degree programmes for DSE graduates. Other VTC member institutions offering Diploma and Certificate courses will equip students with specialised practical skills for different professions/industries.
