Progression pathways for post-secondary 5 programmes (Applicable to students admitted in AY 2011/12).

Notes:

Higher Diploma graduates can apply for admission to top-up degree programmes offered by VTC in collaboration with local and overseas universities or degree programmes offered by local/ overseas universities.

Each academic year normally comprises 2 semesters.

Some programmes may have other specific requirements. Please visit the Prospectus and Admission website for more details.

New Higher Diploma programme offered under the New Senior Secondary (NSS) academic structure is of 5-semester structure which can be completed normally in 2 to 3 years, depending on the pace of study.

Graduates of Foundation Diploma may apply for a specific bridging course offered by VTC. Upon completion of the bridging course, graduates are eligible to apply for VTC’s New Higher Diploma programmes designed for Secondary 6 graduates of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE).
