On site applications to take place at Youth College DVE Interview Day for Secondary 3 to 5 students

16 March 2016

Youth College, a member institution of Vocational Training Council (VTC), provides Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programmes for students at or above Secondary 3. This Saturday (19 March) the College will hold the DVE Interview Day targeting Secondary 3 to 5 students at Youth College (Kwai Fong). Interested students can apply for the programme of their choice on site.

The flexibly-designed DVE programmes are credit-based, providing a multi-entry and multi-exit progression pathway. According to their learning interests and pace, students can choose among 16 specialised vocational programmes under three major study areas: Business and Services, Design and Technology and Engineering. The DVE programmes help them to build a solid foundation for further studies and employment. Upon satisfactory completion of a DVE programme, graduates can apply for higher diploma programmes of other member institutions of the VTC to obtain a higher academic qualification. Graduates applying for specific DVE programmes can join the Earn and Learn Pilot Scheme that integrates structured classroom learning with on-the-job training, enabling students to earn a stable salary while studying at the same time.

At Youth College, a variety of practical programmes are offered in diverse areas, including business, hairdressing, information technology, jewellery arts and design, watch and clock and automotive technology, meeting the needs of students with a wide range of different aspirations.

The Youth College is a member of VTC Group. The College provides youths above Secondary 3 with an interactive learning environment and flexible progression pathways. The Diploma of Vocational Education Programmes (DVE) of the College equip students with knowledge and valuable skill sets, paving the way for further study and employment. The Youth College has eight campuses which include Kowloon Bay, Kwai Chung, Kwai Fong, Pokfulam, Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai, Tseung Kwan O and Yeo Chei Man (near the Po Lam Station). Website:
