VTC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus joined by stars for “Romancing in New York” concert

Renowned artists and performers will join students, alumni and staff of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) Symphony Orchestra & Chorus to present the “Romancing in New York” concert on 26 April, 2015.
 
Into its tenth anniversary this year, the VTC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus will perform selections from best-loved Broadway musicals such as “Phantom of the Opera”, “Singin’ in the Rain” and “Sister Act” under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Dr Henry SHEK. Famous artist Corinna Chamberlain and popular musical theatre performer Eric Huynh will be the special guests.

VTC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus
 
The Vocational Training Council (VTC) is committed to promoting whole person development for young people. The VTC Symphony Orchestra and VTC Chorus were established in 2005 and 2009 respectively, serving as a unique cultural platform for VTC students, alumni and staff to realise and share their musical talent.
 
Artistic Director and Conductor: Dr Henry Shek
 
Since 2006, internationally-acclaimed conductor Dr Henry Shek has been invited to be the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Orchestra. He has enjoyed a busy career as a guest conductor throughout Europe, the US and in the Far East, in Japan and Taiwan as well as in Hong Kong.
 
Special Guest: Artist Corinna Chamberlain

Corinna Chamberlain, a multi-talented artist, is a vocalist, dancer and actress. A graduate of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts majoring in Musical Theatre Dance, Corinna has shown her artistic talents in numerous musicals, dramas, TV dramas and shows.
 
Special Guest: Musical theatre performer Eric Huynh
 
Eric Huynh graduated from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts majoring in Musical Theatre Dance. He has performed leading roles in musicals including “Peter Pan”, “Oliver” and “Annie” and has partnered with a number of arts institutions including the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Hong Kong Dance Company and Theatre Space.
