The Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre (HITDC) was established in 1985 with the aim of providing Hong Kong's young people with the best and most updated practical training facilities in a simulated world-class hotel setting. Training courses are conducted by professionally qualified and highly experienced instructors. The course areas include Western Food Preparation, Western Bakery and Pastry, Western and Chinese Food and Beverage Service, Wine and Bartending, Front Office, Housekeeping, Tour Guide and Service Culture. The Centre also provides Supervisory Certificate courses covering different areas of the hospitality industry.
