27 students and alumni of Higher Diploma in Business Promotion and Event Management (BPEM) ran in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Race on 20 February 2011. Most of them ran in the 10 km challenge race and a few of them ran in the half Marathon. All completed the race and finished with good time.

A year two student of BPEM completed the 10 km Challenge Race in 40 minutes and ranked second at the finishing line among the local senior runners.

Most important of all, they have all experienced the Marathon spirit of never give up, a living spirit they will use in their “life races” in the future.
