We are pleased to announce that Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) has donated 40 scholarships with HK$5000 each for our new students to be admitted in September 2009 for the following full-time Higher Diploma Courses offered by the Construction Discipline of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE):
Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (IVE/TY)
Higher Diploma in Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering (IVE/TY)
Higher Diploma in Construction Engineering and Management (IVE/TM)
Higher Diploma in Building Studies (IVE/MH)
Higher Diploma in Surveying (IVE/MH)
Higher Diploma in Building Technology and Interior Design (IVE/MH)
At the Scholarship Donation Ceremony, Mr. Conrad T.C. Wong, President of the HKCA, presented the donation to Dr. Lawrence W. Chan, Senior Assistant Executive Director & Strategic Discipline Leader of Engineering Disciplines of the VTC.
Dr. Chan thanked HKCA for their generous support and said the scholarship is a positive initiative to the construction industry that youngsters will be more encouraged with such incentives to study our Higher Diploma courses for joining the construction workforce in the years to come.
