Congratulations to our Engineering students, who have achieved success in 2 competitions during June and July 2009. Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering Year 4 students Tam Wing Kwan, Chan Ting Pong, Leung Chek Chi and Lit Kwai Cho jointly won the championship (tertiary non-degree section) and 1st runner-up for their project: Wireless Power Transmission & Charging Pad in Younger Members Exhibition / Conference 2009 on 12 July and Chiang Chen Industrial Charity Foundation Student Project Competition 2008/09 on 17 June respectively.
We are pleased to see our students demonstrate their talents in this event.
Younger Members Exhibition/Conference (YMEC) is organized by the Younger Members Section of the Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong. YMEC is an exhibition and conference at which young engineers and students from tertiary institutions and secondary schools present their projects or papers.
The Chiang Chen Industrial Charity Foundation was established in 1990 by Dr. Chiang Chen, the founder and chairman of the Chen Hsong Holdings Limited. Through various activities and funding programs, the Foundation expects to help train more industrial technologists and professional executives, thereby accelerating the technologies and research development of manufacturing industries in China.
